Harry Baetjer, Head of School

It is good to have everyone back at school after our spring break vacation. As I said in my letter on Monday, there was a court proceeding scheduled for today in Dr. Wheeler's case.

At today’s status conference, a hearing on the request filed by Dr. Wheeler's attorney to suppress evidence was postponed to May 23. It is our understanding that Dr. Wheeler did not appear in court. Rescheduling this hearing means that the May 20 trial date will have to be rescheduled as well, and it is our understanding that a new trial date will be set next week. As soon as we learn the new trial date, we will let you know.

As I mentioned earlier this week, our current independent investigation by Kroll Advisory Solutions cannot be finished until the state's case against Dr. Wheeler has been resolved.

We will continue to monitor the case and update you on the developments.

Sincerely,
Harry Baetjer
Head of School
