Message to Parents, December 22, 2014

Today Judge Davis found Dr. Wheeler guilty of dealing in child pornography. Dr. Wheeler remains in jail. The sentencing hearing by Judge Davis is scheduled for March 27. We respect the court process and have fully cooperated with the authorities throughout this case. This has been very upsetting to our community, and we continue to appreciate your patience and understanding. The safety and well-being of our students have always been our highest priority, and our hearts go out to all victims of child abuse.

 

We anticipate substantial media coverage on this. We will update you when the sentencing hearing takes place.
