Upper Schoolers Compete in Regional Science Bowl

This past week, Upper School students Tommy Zu, Neha Wadhwa, Josephine Thrasher andSimi Olurin and advisor Dorothy Escobar competed at the New Jersey Regional Science Bowl—an academic competition that tests students' knowledge in all areas of science and mathematics sponsored by the Department of Energy at the Princeton Plasma Propulsion Lab. Teams are composed of four high school students of diverse backgrounds and one teacher to act as an advisor and coach. The teams compete in a fast-paced question-and-answer format as they are tested on a range of science topics including biology, chemistry, earth science, physics, energy and math. Congratulations to our participants!
