Catherine Habgood Named U.S. Presidential Scholar Semifinalist

Catherine Habgood ’16 has been named one of 689 semifinalists in the 2016 Presidential Scholars Program, one of the highest honors bestowed upon graduating high school seniors. Semifinalists are selected on the basis of superior academic and artistic achievements, leadership qualities, strong character and involvement in community and school activities. Catherine scored in the top 1 percent of all students who took the ACT, contributing to her selection as a semifinalist. At Tower Hill, she has been involved with the Environmental Club, the Rubble, cross country, the Blue and Gold Club, Jefferson Awards, the Baking Club and varsity soccer. She will be attending Brown University in the fall. Congratulations!
