Second Grader Wins Player of the Year with U.S. Kids Golf


Second Grader Ava Svindland won “Player of the Year” title for her winnings in both the summer and fall 2012 seasons for the U.S. Kids Golf Philadelphia Tour. Ava competed in 18 golf tournaments against other female players ages seven and under who traveled to the Philadelphia area from New York, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. Her best tournament score is a 37. Ava will continue to compete during the winter months in the U.S. Kids National Tour with plans to travel to Florida, Arizona and Georgia. U.S. Kids Golf Foundation conducts over 600 local, regional, national, and international events for boys and girls ages 14 and under.
