Senior Katherine Ianni Selected for All-Eastern Honors Chorus
Congratulations to Katherine Ianni who has been selected to perform in the National Association for Music Education All-Eastern Honors Chorus. Her selection was based upon her high ranking in the 2012 Delaware All-State Chorus and a recommendation from her high school chorus teacher.
Katherine will be one of 120 vocalists in the treble voice chorus. More than 660 other musically talented high school students in the Eastern region of the U.S. have been selected to perform in other ensembles, including concert band, symphony orchestra, mixed chorus and jazz ensemble. Students will spend three days rehearsing with conductors in Hartford, Connecticut, in preparation for performances on April 7, 2013, for an audience of thousands at the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts.
