Middle School Student Selected as Delegate to Japan

Fifth grader Baily Faller has been selected by CISV International to represent our area as part of a delegation being sent to Japan for one month this summer. Baily will join 47 other 11-year-olds from around the world to learn about other cultures while creating lasting bonds of friendship among members of different countries.

CISV was founded over 60 years ago by Dr. Doris Allen, with the goal of providing a range of group educational activities which develop cross-cultural understanding in children, youth, and adults from around the world. By encouraging respect for cultural differences and the development of self-awareness, CISV empowers each participant to incorporate these values into their lives as they become global citizens and strive for a more peaceful world.
