ChessNuts Capture 21st in National Competition
At the largest national chess competition in history, the Tower Hill ChessNuts took 21st in their division in the country!
The Tower Hill "ChessNuts" team of Daniel Petrylka (5th Grade), Nicholas Lenhard (4th Grade), Kieran Petrunich (4th Grade) and Reece Petrunich (1st Grade) took home 21st place in their division in the SuperNationals V in Nashville last weekend. Henry Li missed winning a trophy in the k-6 U1000 division by a half a point. The SuperNationals V officially broke the attendance record for largest rated chess competition in history with 5335 participants!
