Harry Baetjer Named Acting Head of Tower Hill School

The Tower Hill School Board of Trustees has appointed Harry Baetjer as the Acting Head of the school.
 
Mr. Baetjer has served Tower Hill in teaching and administrative capacities for over 43 years. After teaching and coaching middle and upper school students, he became the Dean of Students in the Upper School in 1981, and four years later was appointed Head of the Upper School. Since 2008, Mr. Baetjer has been the Associate Head of the school, managing many of the day-to-day operations. He is the father of three Tower Hill graduates. He completed his B.A. at Trinity College in Connecticut and his M.A. from the University of Delaware.
 
"I have known Harry’s work for more than a decade, commented Earl J. Ball, Chair of the Board. "His reputation for dedication and integrity is well-earned and time-tested. The Board is grateful to Harry for assuming the role of Acting Head. I believe the students, faculty, parents and alumni who have worked with him will share that enthusiasm."
