Junior Henry Mette Performs at Carnegie Hall

Junior Henry Mette was selected for the High School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall, a program established to challenge elite high school performers in choir, band and orchestra. Henry was one of 278 students chosen from 5,000 performers from across the country who auditioned for the opportunity to work with and learn from renowned conductors. This is the second year that Henry has been selected for the honors choir. As part of the 15th annual High School Honors Performance Series, Henry performed at Carnegie Hall on February 9, led by conductors Dr. Lynne Gackle, Jeffrey Grogan and Craig Kirchhoff. He was one of fifteen Bass II singers.
