Bella Abbrescia Honored by Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth

On May 18, 7th grader Bella Abbrescia was recognized as one of the brightest young students in the nation at a regional awards ceremony for academically advanced children sponsored by The Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth (CTY). Bella participated with seventh and eighth graders in the CTY Talent Search by taking the SAT or ACT exams— the same tests used for college admission.

 

She and the other 9,700 honorees from over 50 states and 120 countries earned exceptionally high scores that place them well within the top one-half of one percent academically of students in their grade.
