Math and Science Center Recognized for Architectural Design
Tower Hill’s Math and Science Center received a national architectural design award from the American School & University’s 2014 Architectural Portfolio. The project was recognized as an Outstanding Design in the specialized facility category.
Designed by Bernardon Haber Holloway Architects PC, the 25,000-square-foot building features lab space and classrooms that encourage collaboration and interdisciplinary learning — from a physics drop area to movable desks. A 9-foot dome houses an observatory with sophisticated telescopes and astronomy equipment. The center opened in September 2013.
