Adam Grant to Discuss Success and Compassion in Feb. 11 Presentation
Tower Hill welcomes Adam Grant of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. for an informative evening for parents on balancing success with compassion.
Adam is an award-winning teacher and researcher who authored the New York Times best-selling book Give and Take: A Revolutionary Approach to Success. He graduated from Harvard University and earned master’s and doctoral degrees in organizational psychology from the University of Michigan.
In his presentation, Adam will discuss the belief that being a successful individual and also having compassion and concern for others is not only possible, but these two traits are not mutually exclusive.
This free event is open to the Tower Hill community as well as parents of students attending Wilmington Friends, Tatnall and Sanford. Sponsored by the Home and School Association’s Parent Awareness Committee, the presentation will be held in the Pierre S. du Pont Theatre and Arts Center. Register here.
