Hiller Harvest Gathers 150 Bags of Food for Thanksgiving

 

Students once again played an important role in collecting and delivering over 150 bags of food for Thanksgiving. The Hiller Harvest is a school-wide food collection that benefits the Lutheran Community Services (LCS), which provides emergency assistance to families in need.

 

LCS has 13 food pantries throughout the state and provides food for 60,000 people. In addition to nutritional support, they also offer a complete range of housing loans, grants for security deposits, rent and mortgage, and help with utilities to bolster individuals who are trying to get back on their feet.
