Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service: Jan. 19

Tower Hill’s all-school Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service was again a huge success. Over 150 people attended the event and participated in both donation collections and the hands-on activities.

Lutheran Community Services, Delaware Humane Association, Faithful Friends, the VA Hospital and Ronald McDonald House were all recipients of donated items. Younger students and parents helped to create artwork for the Ronald McDonald House, as well as write letters to the men and women in the military. Hiller Hearts T-shirts were sold as well, with proceeds benefiting the Darkness to Light organization for abused children.

Thanks to all who supported this event, as it would not have been possible without the participation of the Tower Hill community. We look forward to seeing everyone next year!
