After School Daily Schedule for Grades 5-8

After our older children finish their regular school day, the After School program provides a continuation of the attention and guidance they receive in Tower Hill’s classrooms. Students, in Grades 5-6, have a chance to unwind with outside recess before beginning supervised homework in the Middle School Study Hall.

The Homework Club is available for seventh- and eighth-grade students who are not picked up directly after sports practices. The Homework Club is held in the Middle School Computer Lab and is open until 6 p.m. During the Homework Club, a faculty member support seventh- and eighth-graders by helping them complete homework before returning home. There is no cost for students when they take advantage of the Homework Club.

3:15 p.m. – Students in grades 5-6 are dismissed to After School and met by a Kaleidoscope staff member and given a healthy snack.

3:20 p.m. – Indoor/outdoor play

3:45 p.m. – Students begin homework in the MS Study Hall Room.

5:45 p.m. – Students in Grades 5-6 relocate to the After School building.

6:00 p.m. – Kaleidoscope closes for the day.
