First Graders Support the Ronald McDonald House

Michelle Coulter
This spring, first-grade families and other members of the Tower Hill community donated toiletries, such as travel-size shampoo, soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste. These items were assembled into caring kits by the students and donated to the Ronald McDonald House in Wilmington. First-graders have learned that families sometimes need to stay at the Ronald McDonald House while their child is hospitalized. All year long we also collect can tabs for the House, which are recycled for money. If you have any can tabs, please consider saving them for us and dropping them off at a first-grade classroom to help us with our community service project. Thank you!
