Anna Teruya, Sr., Tower Hill, field hockey

Teruya was the only senior in the Hillers starting defensive unit in a 3-0 win over Brandywine in the field hockey state championship Saturday. The Hillers did not allow a goal in four tournament games. Teruya also defends for Tower Hill against penalty corners. In the final, Tower Hill held Brandywine to four shots and cleared all five of the Bulldogs' penalty corners, including back-to-back corners with 3:57 left in the game and the Hillers ahead 2-0.
