PAATH Celebrates Black History Month

In honor of Black History Month, the bulletin board near the front entrance of school gives tribute to the contributions of the African-American community in Wilmington. The display was curated by Belinda Dupree and Rochellda Adderley, co-chairs of PAATH (Parents of African Americans at Tower Hill). If you have not done so already, stop by with your children to learn together about the Clifford Brown Jazz Festival and Shiloh Baptist Church, notable Wilmingtonians such as artist Edward Loper, Sr. and our own distinguished alumni and trustees, and much more. Organized in 2002, PAATH helps ensure that the richness of the African-American experience is treasured and valued as an integral component of the educational traditions of our school, while also creating a welcoming and supportive environment for families.
