MLK Day of Service - Jan. 16

Tower Hill’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service is this Monday, Jan. 16 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. We will be baking bread for Emmanuel Dining Room, preparing peanut butter and jelly sandwiches* for Sojourners’ Place and making dog biscuits for the Delaware Humane Association. We will be joined this year by student volunteers from our partner school, Serviam Academy. PAATH will have an MLK video documentary of Martin Luther King, Jr., including the “I Have a Dream Speech,” while leading an MLK/Civil Rights Trivia Game in the cafeteria.

 

Please join us for this service event in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We encourage parents to participate with their children to ensure added supervision throughout the morning.
