Amy Bickhart

What is your role at Tower Hill?
I serve two roles at Tower Hill: Associate Director of Lower School Admission and Assistant Head of Lower School.

How long have you been at Tower Hill?
This is my 16th year at Tower Hill. I joined the faculty in September of 2001.

Briefly describe your own education.
I received a bachelor's degree from Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College) in 1982 and followed up my degree with a paralegal certificate from the Denver Paralegal Institute. After some time I made the decision to go Wilmington University, where I obtained a master's in education in May 2001.

Why do you do what you do? What are you passionate about at work?
I feel so lucky to be able to introduce families to Tower Hill. It's important for me to be able to share with families the many extraordinary opportunities that are available to every child that walks through our doors. Even though I've been at THS for some time, I still am in awe after each tour having had the chance to see the energy within the classrooms, the passion of the faculty and friendliness of the community. Tower Hill truly delivers a top-notch education and more!

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Reading, cooking, spending time with my family at home, summer days by the pool or on the beach.

What are you reading?
I just finished Last Days of Night by Graham Moore and am now beginning Trevor Noah: Born A Crime.
