Brad is a great guy and a great coach. I wish we had had lacrosse at TH when I was there. He was an idol of my son at St Andrews.

Coach du Pont Inducted into Delaware Lacrosse Foundation Hall of Fame

Boys’ lacrosse coach Brad du Pont ‘82 was inducted into the Delaware Lacrosse Foundation Hall of Fame on June 12.

Du Pont started the lacrosse program at Tower Hill School in 2000. He was coach of the year in 2002, won the state title in both 2005 and 2010, and reached his 200th win this past spring.

An All-American goalie at Williams College, du Pont has coached at Friends, St. Andrew’s, Sanford and the University of Delaware. He’s taken teams to play in Vail, Colorado, Germany, Japan and Australia.

Du Pont has served on both the Board of the International Lacrosse Federation and the Board of the Delaware Lacrosse Foundation since 1995.

He founded the Delaware Boys High School Coaches Association, serving as its president since its inception. He also serves on the DIAA's State Tournament Committee and the All Star Game Committee.

"Brad's passion for the game is infectious, his work ethic with regards to lacrosse is unmatched and his willingness to lend support to any program in need is remarkable,” said Jack Holloway, former athletic director for Tower Hill School. “When you are around Brad du Pont, it won't be long before the conversation will turn to lacrosse. It's not that he's not well versed on many topics, particularly politics and the Marine Corps, it's just that lacrosse is always on his mind and near and dear to his heart."
