Seventh- and Eighth-Graders Attend Annual Diversity Conference
Twenty students from 7th and 8th Grade participated in Haverford School’s annual diversity conference on Thursday, March 14. The conference is titled “Kinship and Friendship: Making Connections Across Lines of Difference.” The keynote speaker, Dr. Rodney Glasgow, is the Head of Middle School and Chief Diversity Officer at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Maryland. Glasgow is also the Chair of NAIS’ Student Diversity Leadership Conference. Students and chaperones (Dyann Connor, Carmen Martinez and Dr. Anna Miller) enjoyed this collaborative learning experience.
