Vision in Marble & Drawing: Tony Trezza & Gus Sermas

This February a new art exhibit entitled “Vision in Marble and Drawing” arrived at Tower Hill that features drawings by Gus Sermas and sculptures by Tony Trezza.

A wall of drawings greets your eyes as you first enter the gallery. They begin in a classical style, rendered in black and white, but they begin to undergo a transformation, becoming more abstract, as bold colors are gradually introduced. This wall leads the viewer into a cluster of white marble figures, which also associate the realistic with the abstract. These sculptures are composed of smooth, clean lines that evoke the fluidity of landscapes as well as human forms. The way in the work of these two different artists comes together is truly remarkable.

The show run from February 1 until February 22. Gallery hours are 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
