Daniel Oren '99 Plays in Scottish Military Tattoo

Dan Oren is having a royal time in Scotland, performing in the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Oren is a musician in the Navy, and it's the first time a U.S. Navy band has performed in the prestigious event. In the tattoo, Oren performs in front of Edinburgh Castle. More than 220,000 people will have seen the live shows when they end in August. He plays trumpet in one of the nine groups that perform every day but Sunday.

Oren studied music at the University of Delaware. He plays piano with the U.S. Naval Forces Europe Band based in Naples, Italy. His family is thrilled that he continues his career as a professional musician while serving the U.S. in the military.
