Applegate Coaches Winning All-American Showcase Team
Wiz Applegate '79, girls' head lacrosse coach, was one of eight named by US Lacrosse to coach at the 2013 Champion All-American Showcase on July 21-27 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World.
The all-star event featured the nation’s elite lacrosse players, and Applegate's team won the tournament. View the championship game on espn3.com.
Coach Applegate, who was selected from a large pool of coaches from across the country, commented, "It was an honor to coach the top lacrosse players in the country. Coaching 20 All-Americans was like being a kid in candy shop!"
