Enrichment Camps

Tower Hill partners with outside vendors to offer specialty camps, using the school’s facilities while tapping the expertise of local organizations.

Chess Masters of Delaware
June 17-21, June 24-June 28, July 29-Aug. 2, 12-3 p.m. Grades K-12, $225 
Come play and learn chess from Delaware's state and national chess champions, Chess Masters of Delaware. Players will be taught on three levels: beginner, novice and advanced. 
 
Code Ninjas Storytelling and Moviemaking in Minecraft
July, 15-19 8:30-11:30 a.m. Grades 1-4, $225
Ninjas will shift their imagination into high gear as they learn scene building, storytelling and video recording featuring their own Minecraft® world. They will also jump into the basics of editing and mixing audio as they produce their final stories as short movies. Using Minecraft® as a creative medium, Ninjas will have fun expressing themselves and sharing their stories with friends. They will leave this camp with a deeper understanding of how creativity and technology can work together to tell exciting stories.
 
Modding in Minecraft
July 22-26, 8:30-11:30 a.m. Grades 3-7, $225
Developed for experienced Minecraft® players, this camp teaches Ninjas how to make unique mods (modifications that change the game)! They will create their own custom tools, weapons, armor, enemies and more! By the end of the camp, Ninjas will be able to export their mods for friends and family to explore at home using Minecraft® Java Edition.
 
LEGO Python Engineers
July 29-Aug. 2, 8:30-11:30 a.m. Grades 5-8, $225
Robotics adventures await! Join us for a camp full of creativity, fun and collaboration as we introduce your Ninja to the worlds of engineering and computer programming using the LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime set and Python Programming Language.
 
Silver Hammer Workshop
At Tower Hill’s well-equipped woodshop, campers learn how to properly use woodworking tools while creating projects that match their level of skill. These camps are geared to bring out the inner engineer in all children!
