Three Hillers Named U.S. Presidential Scholar Candidates


Seniors Nicholas FortCatherine Habgood and Paritosh Raval are among the 4,000 candidates named in the 2016 U.S. Presidential Scholars program, selected from among the 3.3 million students graduating from U.S. high schools this year. Inclusion in the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program, now in its 52nd year, is one of the highest honors bestowed upon graduating high school seniors. Candidates are selected on the basis of superior academic and artistic achievements, leadership qualities, strong character and involvement in community and school activities. From among the 4,000 candidates, 800 semifinalists and then up to 161 Presidential Scholars will be chosen. Congratulations to Nicholas, Catherine and Paritosh on being named candidates!
