Celebrating Tradition

Dear parents,

We celebrated the 2nd annual Tower Day yesterday, a new tradition and spring surprise for our students when we gather at the tower in Rockford Park for a bit of Tower Hill trivia, a green-and-white all school relay, and ice cream. There is something very special about seeing all of our students and faculty gathered together!

Tower Hill is a school where students are willing to take on a bit more for a good cause — a helping hand with a service project, a new leadership role, an extra project for Evening of the Arts, a kind gesture of thoughtfulness. They stretch and grow every day as they support one another and contribute to a strong, vibrant community.

Our seniors, the Class of 2017, are leaders this year in many ways. They recognize the importance of participation and 100% of them have already given to the Tower Hill Annual Fund!

You, our Tower Hill parents, also demonstrate involvement at every turn. You show you care through your presence at school events, numerous volunteer efforts, and extending hugs at the end of a long week. You also show your support by giving to the Annual Fund — which is the way the school makes up the difference between the true cost of a Tower Hill education and tuition. Our Annual Fund is a way of paying tribute to our amazing teachers; it ensures that our operating funds are able to continue to cover excellence in all of our programs.

Please join the Class of 2017 and the many parents who have given to the Annual Fund this year. We are $600,000 of the way toward our goal of $850,000. Your participation makes a difference in the quality of the Tower Hill experience for all students; click here to give online. If you have already made a gift or pledge, I thank you sincerely on behalf of every teacher and student at Tower Hill!

With appreciation,
Bessie
