Upper School Partners with Nature Conservancy

Tower Hill's Environmental and Sustainability class made a field trip last week to First State National Historical Park — the first National Park in Delaware. The students were the first to work with the Nature Conservancy to take environmental data of a creek there.

The students made visual observations of the waterway, collected water samples to perform chemical tests on, and also pulled on waders to collect microinvertebrates in the creek. All of this data was collected and analyzed in order to see how healthy the creek was, and student were happy to conclude that the creek was in good health!
