Head of School

Musical Performances

Dear parents,

What a music-filled few weeks we have had! Our Upper School performance on Tuesday was superb. The repertoire spanned many genres and ensembles, from Saint-Saëns to Leonard Cohen to Stephen Foster to Victor Paranjoti, and even a violin trio performing Coldplay. A memorable moment was In a Gentle Rain, when finger snapping and rainsticks transformed the theater into a serene spring rainfall with lovely flute solos. Our Middle School concert impressed, and along with the recent production of The Music Man involving both Middle and Upper School students, these efforts highlight the talent and commitment of our students and faculty. Music is important to our soul at Tower Hill. Bravo!

Yesterday evening one of our trustees hosted a Tower Hill alumni reception at the Harvard Club. We shared an overview of the Strategic Plan and collected feedback from alumni of all decades who care deeply about their alma mater. While they may not recognize it yet, all of our students are part of a larger Tower Hill community!

Enjoy the weekend,
Bessie
