Lower School Students Drop Off Care Packages for Police Departments

In honor of National Police Week, Lower School students assembled more than 150 care packages that were delivered to the Wilmington Police Department, New Castle County Police Department and Delaware State Troopers Troop #2 — where Corporal Stephen Ballard was stationed. 

 

Students held a jeans day fundraiser last week to raise money to purchase supplies to assemble care packages with hand sanitizer, tissues, snack bars and $5 gift certificates for coffee. Students also had the opportunity to write notes of appreciation and express thanks for all officers do to ensure our safety, which were included in the individual care packages.
