Fall Sports

Dear parents,

The fall athletic season is coming to an end, and I couldn’t be prouder of Tower Hill’s student-athletes and coaches. They have worked hard, persevered and demonstrated true sportsmanship. The volleyball team had an outstanding 15-1 season and made it to the DIAA semifinals last night. The 8-1 football team plays Wilmington Friends tonight at 7 p.m. on DeGroat Field. The undefeated field hockey team plays in the state tournament tomorrow at Richardson Field at 11 a.m., followed by the soccer team playing Caravel in the DIAA second round at Appoquinimink at 1 p.m.The DIAA Championship cross country meet is also tomorrow at Killens Pond State Park. Bundle up, and come cheer on our Hillers!

Athletics bring our school community together, whether as fans in the stands or as competitors. Please join me in thanking Seth Kushkin, Kathy Franklin, Chris Sanna and all of our coaches for a fantastic fall season.

I’ll see you at the fields!

Bessie
