Sixth-Graders Perform Greek Mythology Plays
The 6th Grade culminated a cross-curricular Greek Mythology unit by performing original plays in the 1919 Auditorium last week. The students became immersed in traditional Greek myths in reading class and used these origin stories as a guide to write their own Greek myths during English class. Eight of these stories were developed into scripts and performed. During intermission, the students enjoyed a Greek food tasting party before they returned to applauding their classmates’ efforts on stage. Watch a video here.
