Water is Life Kenya Founders Speak to Middle School Students

On May 15, Joyce Tannian, founder of Water Is Life Kenya, and Joseph Larasha, co-founder and Maasai elder, joined us from the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro to give a presentation to our Middle School students on their work in Kenya. Their non-profit program, “Water Is Life Kenya,” has provided clean, accessible water to 50,000 people in Southern Kenya who live in drought-prone rural areas. Students learned the value of clean, accessible water and the need for all of us to take care of this natural resource.
