Tower Hill Volunteer Louise Cummings Recognized by Governor
Louise Cummings (pictured above to the right), parent of Abigail Lewis '30, has been named a 2019 Governor's Volunteer Service Award Recipient for her volunteerism at Tower Hill School, as well as Ballard Reading Buddies, Delaware's Women's Workforce Council and the National Association of Black Law Enforcement. Cummings has organized the Community Camp Fair, helped with fundraising and outreach and helped network with various organizations to create partnerships with the Tower Hill community, as highlighted in the Office of the Governor's news release. She was a also a driving force and leadership contributor for Tower Hill’s Experiential Outdoor Classroom, dedicated to her late husband, Corporal Stephen J. Ballard. Tower Hill is grateful for her generous support and service to the school.
