Faculty and Staff Members Present at National Conferences

Lower School psychologist Amy Cuddy, Ph.D., and teaching and learning specialist Jessica Douglass spoke at the NAIS (National Association of Independent Schools) virtual conference last week about reading and engaging social energy in the classroom. Director of STEM Initiatives Liz Brown, Ph.D., and Science Department Chair Tim Weymouth presented through asynchronous videos at Carney Sandoe & Associates' FORUM/STEM & Innovation Conference this week. Brown presented "Imagine This: The Value of Storytelling and Metaphor in Teaching Chemistry," and Weymouth presented "Pendulum Power to the People." On Monday, Feb. 22, Chief Financial Officer Eric Norman presented at the National Business Officers Association's Annual Meeting about building a remote, fully automated business office.
