Bank of America Student Leaders Program

Marissa Washburn '22 has been selected to participate in the Bank of America Student Leaders Program, which provides the opportunity for high school juniors and seniors across the country to receive summer leadership training and paid internships within their communities. Washburn was chosen as one of five among hundreds of Delaware students to participate in an eight-week paid internship with the United Way of Delaware. The entire program, which typically includes a one week national Student Leaders Summit in Washington, D.C., will be virtual this year. 

 

“I was looking for a summer program where I could connect with other young people who share my interest in service to the community,” Washburn said. “The Bank of America Student Leaders Program looked like the perfect opportunity to work with like minded peers while also learning from mentors about the workings of a nonprofit organization.”
