Teachers Attend Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Trainings

Tower Hill faculty members, staff and administrators participated in anti-bias, anti-racism trainings this past week. On Thursday, Aug. 26, teachers virtually attended the MCRC@ADVIS Cheryl Irving Cultural Competency Institute with nearly 1,500 educators from more than 70 schools. Teachers attended a keynote by diversity speaker and trainer Rosetta Lee, followed by workshop sessions. On Monday, Aug. 30, our entire faculty and staff participated in a professional development training led by Dr. Beverly Daniel Tatum, author of “Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria?”
