TOWER HILL FOOTBALL COACH ATTENDED NFL CONFERENCE ON BEHALF OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE

Head football coach Kevin Waesco was chosen to represent the state of Delaware and attend the 2006 NFL Youth Football Summit, held August 2 –August 5. 2006 at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

Senior Director of the NFL Youth Football Summit, Cedric Jones, states that the summit is the NFL’s “commitment to grassroots level football, the summit is a three-day educational and interactive conference for leaders in youth and high school football.  More than 150 youth and high school football coaches and administrators participate in clinics, educational seminars and roundtable discussions chaired by former NFL players and coaches, youth medical experts and motivational speakers.”

Waesco was selected based on his strong commitment to the sport of football, his dedication to the game and his mentorship of young people.  Waesco reflects on the summit and states, “I feel like I learned a lot, reinforced several ideas and beliefs that I already had and gained a new perspective by sharing experiences with the other head high school football coaches.”
