Hillers rally for victory: Alexandra Nielsen scored two goals in the final 1:11 of regulation and Myra Trivellas scored twice in overtime as Tower Hill stormed back to defeat St. Andrew’s last Tuesday at the Kirkwood Soccer Club. The Saints were ahead 9-6 until Lauren Ianni assisted Nielsen (three goals) at the 1:11 mark, and with 0:58 left in regulation, Heather Reinhardt scored to cut the Saints’ lead to 9-8. With 0:48 to go, Meghan Lyons assisted Nielsen to tie it. Overtime was played in two, full three-minute periods. Trivellas (three goals) put the Hillers ahead 11-9 on two goals during the first overtime. With 2:43 left in the second overtime, St. Andrew’s made it 11-10 on a goal by Charlotte Rajasingh, but that was the end of the scoring. Rajasingh and Cinda Caldwell had two goals each for the Saints, and Mary Hobbs scored twice for the Hillers. Goalies Anna Teruya (Tower Hill) and Mackenzie Lilly (St. Andrew’s) each had seven saves.
