What Does "Many Things Done Well" Really Mean?

The first day of school was powered with energy and excitement. During the opening assembly, we welcomed new students and together cheered "T-H-S, T-H-S, T-H-S..."

Headmaster Chris Wheeler talked about Tower Hill's motto – Multa Bene Facta or Many Things Done Well. He shared that it doesn't mean that we have to be perfect; we just need to bring the best of ourselves to all we do every day.

A living example of our motto is alumni Jon Holzman '03, a helicopter pilot who served in Afghanistan. Last year Laurie Edinger's 4th grade class partnered with Jon and his unit, and in gratitude to Tower Hill, Jon flew over 100 missions for Operation Enduring Freedom with an American flag. The 4th graders – now 5th graders – presented the flag to Dr. Wheeler. The flag will soon be on display in the school as a reminder to our community to always bring our best!
