Heidi and Josphine Chu Win Awards at Golden Key Music International Festival
Sixth grader Heidi Chu placed third nationally in music composition, and junior Josephine Chu won the international bronze award in piano competition at the Golden Key Music International Festival.
Heidi's recognition in composition marked her second year receiving the award. As a bronze winner in the piano competition, Josephine will perform at a festival recital in New York City later this year.
Golden Key Music Festival was established as a major cultural event that attracts young instrumentalists and vocalists from across the U. S. and other countries. Its mission is to give young musicians the opportunity to display their talents on some of the most prestigious concert stages and to unlock the door into the magic world of the arts.
