Josephine Chu Named a Top High School Musician in the U.S.

Senior Josephine Chu has been selected by the National Association of Music Educators (NAfME) as a top-performing high school musician for the All-National Honors Ensembles.
Students who were selected for the ensembles were accepted into their states' all-state music program and were also nominated by their music director. The ensembles will perform in Nashville, Tennessee, in October 2013. Josephine plays the flute and piano, and sings in the choir. In addition to her All-State awards in choir and band, she recently won the bronze award in the piano competition in the Golden Key Music International Festival and was also named to the National High School Flute Choir.
