Tara Malloy Named History Department Chairperson

Tower Hill School is pleased to announce that Tara Malloy will be the new History Department Chairperson beginning in the 2014-15 school year. She will succeed Dr. Ellis Wasson who announced his retirement in December 2013 after 24 years of extraordinary service.  

Tara received her B.A. from Yale University in History with a concentration in U. S. History. She was a member of the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society. After completing her M.A. in World History at New York University, she taught at Morristown-Beard School in Morristown, New Jersey, for three years. Joining Tower Hill in 2007, Tara has taught 9th, 10th and 11th grades in the Upper School and has been particularly involved with the 9th grade World History program. She is the 9th grade head class advisor and developed an orientation program for 9th graders entering the Upper School.
