The Tower Hill Music Department provides the foundation of a solid music education and offers a multitude of opportunities for students at all divisions to perform. Beginning in Lower School, students participate in musicals, choral concerts and the community experience found in less formal classroom ensembles and movement activities.
Through Lower and Middle School, the music program develops our students’ abilities in instrumental and vocal music as well as their appreciation of music. Concerts in the winter and spring showcase the talents of our students in all divisions.
Concert Band, Jazz Band, Concert Choir, Vocal Ensemble, String Orchestra and numerous small chamber groups are examples of the variety that our music program has to offer. Guest performers and clinicians further enhance the program. Across the divisions, Tower Hill’s music program emphasizes the development of fundamental skills as a springboard to more advanced musicianship. The music building provides large vocal and instrumental spaces, along with smaller classrooms, practice rooms, storage and offices.
