Fall 2025 registration opens Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. and goes to Friday, Sept. 12 at noon. Register online for Enrichment Programs through Homeroom. Register early as classes fill up quickly.

ChessNuts (Grades K-8)

Greg Rogers of Chess Masters of Delaware offers his expertise in teaching Tower Hill students how to play chess and improve their current level of competence. The benefits of chess are numerous. Code Ninjas: Explorer Bits and Bytes (Grades K-1)

Welcome to Explorers where young kids can dive into the fascinating world of electronics and physical computing! This unique class is designed to unleash creativity and curiosity as our little ninjas experiment with micro:bit microcontrollers and Makey Makey circuit boards. Campers will embark on exciting projects, designing and building their own interfaces, controllers, sensors and sounds. Through hands-on learning, they’ll discover the magic of blending hardware and software, turning their inventive ideas into reality.

Code Ninjas: Game Lab Retro Style (Grades 1-4) 

Thursdays 3:10-4:10 p.m.: 9/18, 9/25, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/6, 11/13, 11/20, 12/4

Retro games meet ninjas, ninjas meet retro games. In this class, ninjas use Microsoft MakeCode Arcade to bring iconic arcade games to new life with fresh takes. Students will design and code their own games inspired by classic platformers and adventure genres. The excitement doesn’t end there—at the culmination of the camp, they’ll see their creations come to life on handheld gaming devices, ready to play and share with friends. This hands-on experience not only reinforces their learning but also sparks joy and confidence as they showcase their achievements.

Emotion Explorers (Grades 1-4)

Tower Hill is excited to offer “Emotion Explorers: A Nature Self-Regulation Group” in partnership with Pediatric Occupational Therapist, Liz Downing, of In the Woods OT. This unique enrichment program will provide students with an opportunity to grow their self-regulation skills and strengthen their self-awareness. Utilizing resources from the Powerfully You™ curriculum and providing the opportunity for structured group play, Ms. Downing helps students find ways to recognize and manage their emotions. This facilitated group will be limited to six students in each grade level class, as it will provide a safe space for the children to develop a focused connection to nature and their peers. Included in the price, parents will also have the option to schedule a one-on-one consultation with Liz during the course of the class. Over the course of six weeks, students will gain confidence, learn strategies to navigate the social world and build relationships with peers all while immersed in nature. 

Money Math (Grades PreK-1)

Designed for our youngest students, this program serves as a real-life math lab where students practice their computational skills and develop a foundation in financial literacy. Students participate in money math games and activities that help them internalize how they can use their math skills in everyday life. Instructor - Jessica McIntrye

Science Explorers (Grades K-4) - Three Thematic Units

Thursdays 3:10-4:10 p.m.: 9/18, 9/25, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/6, 11/13, 11/20, 12/4 

  • Grossology: Ever wondered if mucus is secretly part of your daily diet? Do you know where in your body you’re making a cement-like substance? What happens to your cells when you sweat? Find out the wacky science going on inside all of us! We’ll make our own mucus-like green slime, mix up lavender bath salt to keep us smelling good, make an explosion of gas bubbles, mix up noisy putty and use chemistry to show how to neutralize stomach acids. We like to call it a “cool kind of gross”!
  • Freaky Physics: Get ready to freak out with physics as you examine forces, see how physics and engineering are related as you compete in a tower building challenge, create a circuit to power a cool motorized “bristle-bot” and explore the marvels of magnetism. 
  • Slime Squad: Welcome to Slime Squad—where the fun never stops, and the slime never dries! Get ready to squish, stretch and glow with the coolest, gooiest creations around. Sink your hands into the soft, moldable magic of sand slime, watch your masterpieces light up the dark with luminescent slime and stretch the sweet, bouncy fun of bubble gum slime while blowing epic bubbles (just don’t actually chew it!). Whether you’re here to experiment, create or just make a glorious mess, our club is the ultimate slime-lover’s paradise.

Sports Management (Grades 3-4) 

Wednesdays 3:10-4:10 p.m.: 9/17, 9/24, 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19, 12/3

For the sports lover, future team General Manager, sports team owner, ESPN analyst or coach, this unique program helps students view the world of sports from a business perspective. Students actively discuss and analyze different topics, including player contracts, mock drafts, college sports, endorsements, the Nike vs. Under Armour competition, the Super Bowl, e-sports and more! Cheerleading (Grades 3-4)

Tuesdays 3-3:45 p.m.: 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28, 11/11, 11/18, 11/25, 12/2

Introduction to cheerleading emphasizes safety, fun and age-appropriate activities while teaching fundamental cheerleading skills like voice projection, basic jumps, formations and teamwork.

Each session includes warm-ups, strength training, skill development, main activities, games and cool-downs to keep the children engaged throughout the hour. Instructor - Nicole Becker

Field Hockey (Grades 1-4)

Delaware Sharks Field Hockey Club is partnering with Tower Hill to offer an introduction to field hockey for grades 1-4. Athletes will learn field hockey basics through a mix of skills drills and fun games.

Martial Arts (Grades K-4)

Belt Promotion 12/3 - mark your calendars!

In this fun and empowering program, students will gain confidence, sharpen their focus and develop their self control through the practical martial art of jiu jitsu! Students will learn life saving self-defense techniques as well as bully proofing tips! This program is taught by Stephen Plyler, 3rd degree black belt and owner of Elevated Studios Martial Arts in the Forty Acres neighborhood of Wilmington. Price includes uniform and belt promotion. Petite Yogi (Grades K-4)

This introduction to yoga incorporates playful movements and games in a noncompetitive environment. Each class ends with a guided relaxation to allow students to decompress after a full day of school. Our yoga classes begin to build the foundation for a lifetime of self awareness and compassion. Tennis (Grades K-4)

Excellence Tennis Academy Director, David Taylor, will lead this camp alongside experienced and skilled coaches. This tennis class introduces children to the game of tennis utilizing various drills, games and fun structured play to enhance the child’s learning progression. The goal of this program is to get your children playing the game and having fun with the sport. Coach Dave has been working with kids of all ages at various schools in Delaware and Pennsylvania over the past 15 years. ARTS / MUSIC

Acting (Grades K-4)

Performance 12/2

Join Child Drama Workshops for this interactive drama workshop including creative movement, theater exercises and improvisational role playing. Students will learn the fundamentals of the theater including stage geography and terminology. Basic acting techniques such as concentration, emotional awareness and characterization are explored. This creative experience allows for children to express themselves imaginatively by improvising favorite stories and original ideas. Costume accessories and props will be used to enhance creativity during the workshop. An original and improvisation-based play will be presented to parents and peers on the final day of class 12/2. Dance - Ballet at the Barre (Grades PreK-4) 

Mondays 3:10-4:10 p.m.: 9/15, 9/22, 9/29, 10/6, 10/20, 10/27, 11/10, 11/17, 11/24, Performance 11/24

Children will learn the basics of ballet emphasizing proper technique and terminology, which are an essential foundation in the performing art of dance. Our instruction will include barre work this year! In every class, students will participate in age appropriate activities that engage the students’ interest while instructing proper technique and an appreciation for this art form. Parents are invited on the last day for a performance! The fee includes performance costume but not weekly dance attire.

Dance Attire: Girls wear leggings, comfy shirts and sneakers. Boys wear track or sweat pants, comfy shirts and sneakers. A dance bag is suggested for all their belongings. 

DANCE - Hip Hop  (Grades PreK-3)

Children will learn the basics of hip hop emphasizing proper technique and terminology, which are an essential foundation in the performing art of dance. In every class, students will participate in age appropriate activities that engage the students’ interest while encouraging them to improve their skills and gain an appreciation for this art form. Parents are invited on the last day for a performance! The fee includes performance costume but not weekly dance attire.

Painting With A Twist (Grades 1-4)

Create six paintings that explore the fall season. We will embrace fall colors and creations. We will nurture each child’s creative ability. Every two weeks your child will bring home a painting they can proudly display in your home or office or give as gifts to family and friends. School of Rock: Little Wings (Grades TT-PreK)

Performance 12/3 

Little Wings is School of Rock’s music program for 3- to 5-year-olds. This music program features
a special, rock-focused curriculum where students play games and engage in activities to help them internalize the foundational skills they will use as their musical abilities grow. Each class, School
of Rock uses classic rock hits to teach rhythm, song structure, melody, dynamics and more
through play.

We Kids Rock  (Grades TT-PreK)

Mondays 3:10-3:45 p.m.: 9/15, 9/22, 9/29, 10/6, 10/20, 10/27, 11/10, 11/17, 11/24 

We Kids Rock family music classes are 40 minutes of music participation for 3- to 5-year-olds. Bill plays guitar and leads the class as we sing, clap, shake egg shakers and most of all—have fun! A great introduction to music for littles everywhere. Contact Bill with questions at [email protected]

Knitting (Grades 2-4)

Thursdays 3:10-4:10 p.m.: 9/18, 9/25, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/6, 11/13, 11/20

This is a fun introduction to knitting for new fiber artists. In this class, you will learn to cast-on stitches, as well as the knit stitch, the purl stitch and binding off. Students will enjoy learning this historical skill of hand crafting to create cherished items that provide comfort. Every student
will go home with a fun project to enjoy.


* Due to the nature of the classes in our enrichment program, refunds will no longer be granted.

Students will be dismissed from school to Kaleidoscope staff/class instructor and given a snack prior to class. After class, registered students attending the Kaleidoscope After School Program will be picked up by staff and brought to the Kaleidoscope building. Students who are not enrolled in the Kaleidoscope, should be picked up promptly by their parent or caregiver in the designated enrichment classroom. Children not picked up within 10 minutes of the end of class will join Kaleidoscope After School, and families will be charged accordingly at the drop-in rate. 

Please note: Children that need to attend Kaleidoscope after their enrichment class for the remaining part of that day will need to register on homeroom for an additional hour or two for that given day. For example: (one hour after their enrichment class, register for the 4 p.m. pick up time; two hours after enrichment class, register for the 5 p.m. pick up time, etc.)
