Sports Camps

Sports camps held at Tower Hill are run by both highly-qualified Tower Hill School coaches who have led their teams to many successful seasons and by outside partner organizations (see right). Sports Camps are held Monday through Friday, and Day Camp is available on Friday afternoon for full-day Sports Camps for free.

Week 1 - June 8-12th
No extended Care Monday and Tuesday

Girls’ Basketball (Rising Grades 4-8)
$290  - 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m., Friday 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Learn to love the fun game of basketball. Emphasis on offensive and defensive skills. Players will participate in game-like situation drills and organized scrimmages. Coached by Tower Hill Basketball coach, Amanda Blackstone.

Boys’ Basketball (Rising Grades 4-8)
$290 - 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m., Friday 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Week 2 - June 15-19

Girls’ Field Hockey (Rising Grades 4-8) 
$290 - 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m., Friday 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Focus on building the fundamental skills for the Middle School player, whether she is new to the sport or is looking to develop her skills for future high school play. Emphasis on basic stick skills, defensive techniques, teamwork and offensive tactics. Players will also participate in small games and scrimmages. Directed by Delaware Sharks Coach Paul Zelenak.

First and Ten Football - firstandten.salesianum.org 
This camp will provide instruction in the fundamentals of football to youth and middle school players. This camp is intended for all football players, regardless of football experience. Week 3 - June 22-26

Girls’ Volleyball (Rising Grades 4-8)

Camp will focus on learning/improving basic techniques while allowing the players to play in game-like situations. Games and instruction will be presented in a non-intimidating, fun atmosphere. Coached by Tower Hill volleyball coach Amanda Blackstone.

MyServe Tennismyserve.net
MyServe sessions are age/level appropriate and led by certified, trained MyServe instructors. The primary objective of each session is to creatively introduce your child to the sports of tennis and golf. For information and registration, visit myserve.net

Week 4 - June 29-July 2 (Camp closed Friday July 3)

Coach Aitken’s Sports Camp (Rising Grades 3-6)
$130  - 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Come and get moving with Coach Aitken this summer while engaging in many fun games, sports and team activities. Each day will consist of different warm ups, sports and focus. The focus is to engage students with a variety of active and cardiovascular games, while having lots of fun.

Arsenal USA Summer Camp will provide world-class soccer development for boys & girls, ages 6-14. Players of all skill levels will receive specialized training based on the Arsenal methodology to improve their game awareness and gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for the world’s most popular sport.

Wrestling Clinic Series
$65 Registration - 55 Wrestlers (Cap) - July 27-30. Mon-Thurs, 6-8:30 p.m. in the Carpenter Fieldhouse. 6-7:00 p.m. will be for novice and middle school wrestlers. 7-8:30 p.m. will be for more experienced middle schoolers and high school wrestlers. Novice wrestlers have the option to stay through until the end of the practice at 8:30 p.m.. Clinicians will include Jack Holloway, Mike Degliobizzi, Gary Munch, Karl Crock, and Tower Hill Wrestling coach Greg Spear.
