Israeli Peace Drum Visits Tower Hill

This week students from Israeli Peace Drum visited Tower Hill as part of their 10-day trip to perform concerts in Wilmington, Philadelphia, New York and Washington. They shared a presentation with photos of their drum group, their villages and their school in Mr. Addis' 9th Grade World History class. The students attend a large interfaith school for Arab children called Mar Elias in the village of Ibellin in northern Israel. There are only four such schools in all of Israel. Other students in the band attend a Jewish school, Leo Baeck, in Haifa.
