Swimmers Named to All-Conference Teams

Congratulations to the swimmers named to all-conference teams! On the girls' swim team, Lainey Mullins '23, Sydney DeBaecke '22 and Sydney Aitken '19 earned first-team all-conference. Lindsay Kalish '22, Caroline Deyrup '21 and Kayley Knackstedt '22 earned second-team. Lauren Gilbert '22, Katie Sullivan '21, Anna Paisley Gray '20 and Maggie Coulter '20 earned honorable mention. The girls will swim in the preliminary round of the State Championship tonight at the University of Delaware. Qualifying swimmers will return to the pool for finals on Saturday at 6 p.m.

 

On the boys' team, William Zakielarz '22 earned first-team. Jake Spruance '19, Matthew Spruance '21, Kieran Petrunich '21, Yaseen Belkadi '22, Bo Gravuer '22 and Lucas Zheng '19earned second-team. Jake Frietze '22 earned honorable mention. These boys, as well as Tom Conaty '23 and Jacob Texter '23, swam in the preliminary rounds last night. Qualifying swimmers will return to the pool at the University of Delaware tomorrow at 11 a.m. for finals.
